General Cleaning Notice

Standard window cleaning covers removal of routine dirt, dust, and light buildup. It does not include removal of paint, silicone, stucco, adhesives, or other construction debris. If such materials are present, they will be handled as a Construction Clean service, and subject to additional fees.

Scratch Waiver

The customer understands and acknowledges the following:

1. Glass surfaces may contain pre-existing scratches, blemishes, or imperfections that are not visible until after professional cleaning.

2. The Tidy Kiwi LLC uses safe, professional methods and tools designed to minimize the risk of damage.

3. The Tidy Kiwi LLC is not responsible for scratches, chips, or damage resulting from:

- Pre-existing glass imperfections, coating failures, clouding or faulty tempered/tinted glass

- Construction debris (paint, stucco, silicone, adhesives, etc.) adhered to the glass

- Environmental wear or existing damage present before cleaning

4. The customer agrees to release and hold harmless The Tidy Kiwi LLC from liability for cosmetic scratches or blemishes revealed or caused under these conditions.

Screen Waiver

The customer acknowledges that window screens may weaken, warp, or become brittle over time due to age, weather, or environmental factors. While The Tidy Kiwi LLC takes care when handling screens, we are not responsible for tears, breaks, or damage resulting from pre-existing age, wear, or weakened screen frames and materials.

Gutter Waiver

The customer acknowledges that gutters and downspouts may contain existing rust, corrosion, loose fasteners, or other damage due to age, weather, or prior installation issues. While The Tidy Kiwi LLC takes care when cleaning, we are not responsible for leaks, dents, separations, or damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, weakened seams, or fragile gutter materials.

Solar Panel Cleaning Waiver

Section 1 ‒ Panel Condition & Pre-Existing Damage

> Solar panel cleaning may use your on-site water source when suitable for pure water filtration.

The customer acknowledges that solar panels may have existing damage, wear, or deterioration not visible prior to cleaning. This includes, but is not limited to, cracks, scratches, chips, delamination, loose wiring, or seal failure. Oxidation is considered a material failure, not a cleaning issue. Oxidation is a chemical process where the panel’ s protective coating breaks down due to UV exposure over time. This natural degradation can cause haz ing, dull spots, or uneven reflection on the panel surface. The Tidy Kiwi is not responsible for oxidation marks, discoloration, or any appearance changes resulting from this process. The Tidy Kiwi will document visible pre-existing damage where possible and will perform all work using pure reverse osmosis deioniz ed (RODI) water with no soaps or chemicals to minimiz e risk. The customer accepts that The Tidy Kiwi is not liable for pre-existing, age-related, or material failures discovered during or after cleaning.

Section 2 ‒ Electrical, Safe Access & Weather Conditions

The customer understands that solar panels contain live electrical components and wiring. While The Tidy Kiwi uses only pure reverse osmosis deioniz ed (RODI) water and non-abrasive methods, there is always some risk when moisture and electricity are present. The Tidy Kiwi is not responsible for electrical faults, short circuits, inverter errors, or system malfunctions caused by pre-existing wiring issues, poor installation, or damaged seals. The customer agrees to provide clear and safe access to the solar panels before service. The Tidy Kiwi reserves the right to delay or decline cleaning if access is unsafe due to roof pitch, weather, or fragile roof materials. Safety is always our top priority̶ for both the technician and the customer’s property.
